David is an attorney specializing in U.S. domestic and international business taxation. Since 1997, David has been advising companies with respect to transaction structuring and global tax planning. In addition to his law degree, he has a master of laws degree in taxation and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In February of 2017, David started RDDY Consulting LLC specializing in U.S. domestic and international tax planning.
Prior to founding RDDY Consulting LLC, David was a Managing Director with KPMG LLP where he served as lead tax advisor for several public and private companies. As a member of several of KPMG’s specialized practices (Complex Transactions, Value Management, Venture Capital and Technology, and Life Sciences), he advised company leadership on how to structure their global operations to achieve their business objectives in a tax efficient manner. Having also served as Senior Tax Counsel at Raytheon Company, as an attorney with Pepper Hamilton LLP, as Treasurer and co-founder of a small business, and as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s mergers and acquisitions practice, he brings a broad range of experience and a unique perspective to his clients. David serves as co-chair of the International Tax Committee of the Boston Bar Association Tax Section. He is also a member of the International Fiscal Association Council, New England Chapter. He is an adjunct professor of international taxation in the Masters of Science in Taxation program at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business. He is also a member of the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic Pro Bono Panel for the Harvard Law School, Legal Services Center, Federal Tax Clinic. |
